Following on from our recent webinar with Dr Mary O’Kane, Starting ‘Big School’, we are continuing the theme of transitions with Alison Curtin who is the owner of a preschool and has worked with young children for many years.

Alison’s experiences have inspired her to write two books, The Pea and the Pansie start Big School and The Pea and the Pansie Colour Me. Alison hopes that the two books will provide comfort during this time of change and transition in the child’s life.  Reading storybooks is just one of the recommendations for preparing children for their transition to primary school.  So Childminding Ireland will host a webinar for parents and childminders where Alison will share her personal experiences and provide guidance on how you can help your own children or the children you mind through this period of change.
