Reading books from an early age can have a very positive impact on our children’s lives. There are so many benefits which include strengthening relationships between the reader and child, supporting children’s language, vocabulary and cognitive development while also teaching children empathy, tolerance and understanding.  

Childminding Ireland is delighted to welcome Children’s Books Ireland to deliver a webinar which will highlight the importance of reading for children. They will share tips on how you can encourage reading in your home and what you can do to help children to fall in love with books. You will hear about the best books for engaging young readers, tips for starting a culture of reading in your home and advice for enthusing reluctant readers.
